SHORT STORIES
SHORT STORY
A Short Story is a fictional work shorter in length than a novel. They usually have around 1,500 to 2000 words and should be read in one sitting, anywhere from half an hour to two hours. Because of their shorter length, a short story usually focuses on one plot, one main character with a few additional minor characters), and one central theme. The reader generally finds themselves already in the action when the story begins and many of them have unexpected twists at the end.
