1.     Read about the busy day Jane had yesterday. As everything happened yesterday, all the verbs are in the past.

Yesterday Jane had a very busy day. First she went to the dry cleaner’s and collected her dress and jacket. Then she went to the drugstore and bought some sun block and a pair of sunglasses. After that she went to the bank and changed some money for dollars.  Leaving the bank, she went to her travel agents, where she collected her air tickets. Once she had them, she returned home and packed her suitcases.
Early in the evening she called a taxi. The taxi took her to the airport, where a couple of hours later she caught a plane to Brazil.

2.     Now write about what you did yesterday (using past verbs).
