VACATION QUESTIONS (Intermediate) (EXERCISE I61E182)



















1.       Answer the questions about your last vacation:

(A)   Did you enjoy your last vacation?

2.       Fill in the gaps using the word in the brackets, in the correct tense.

Today ______ (be) the second day of my trek around Mount Annapurna. I am exhausted and my legs are _______________ (shake); I hope I am able to complete the trek. My feet are really ___________ (kill) me and my toes are __________ (bleed), but I still __________ (want) to continue.

Nepal is a fascinating country, but I have a great deal to learn. Everything _______ (be) so different, and I am ____________ (try) to adapt to the new way of life here. (C)   How did you get there? By plane.
(D)   How much luggage did you take?  Two bags.
(E)    Were the people friendly? Yes!
(F)    What souvenirs did you buy?  A wool mat and some soft kiwis.
(G)  What was the most interesting thing that you did during the vacation? Ate “fish and chips”!
(H)   Would you recommend your friends visit there, why or why not? Yes! It is a fantastic place!
(I)     Where would you like to go next? I would love to visit New Zealand again.
