the questions:
Going
on holiday: The final count down!
The
day before you leave:
Make a pile of everything you would like to take with you and then
divide into two piles - essential things / things you might need. Reject
everything in “might need pile” and focus your energy on trying to make the
“essential pile”, smaller. Next pack your case. Put the most important things
in your hand luggage in case your suitcase gets lost.
On
the last day itself:
Have a last look around the house. Check that all the gas and
electrical appliances are switched off (except the freezer). Throw away any
food that won’t last until you come back. Lock all the doors and windows.
Ten minutes after you have left you will think you have forgotten your passport. When you get to the airport you will be convinced that you have
forgotten to lock the back door. When you arrive at the hotel you will wonder
if you left the iron on. On the second day of your holiday however you won’t
care about a thing.
