ADVERBS
An adverb is a word that modifies or describes a verb, adjective, or another adverb in a sentence. It provides more information about how, when, where, or to what extent something is done or happening.
For example, in the sentence
"She sings beautifully," the word "beautifully" is an
adverb that modifies the verb "sings" and tells us how she sings. In
the sentence "He ran quickly," the word "quickly" is an
adverb that modifies the verb "ran" and tells us how he ran.
Some common examples of adverbs
include "slowly," "quickly," "quietly,"
"loudly," "happily," "sadly," "often,"
"never," "always," and "here."
