HOMOPHONES (ADVANCED) (EXERCISE A10E35)





In English some words are spelled the same but sound differently (and have completely different meanings), while some words are spelled differently but sound the same (and also have completely different meanings).


Below are some examples of words that are spelled exactly the same but are pronounced differently. Do you know the difference in meaning?

(1)    The farm was used to produce/ produce.  ___________________________________
